Rapid response: With little notice and a great sense of urgency, we had a four-man crew out there to replace sections of the 2.5” pipe and complete repairs to the boiler itself. The gate valves on the cold and hot lines had both failed as well, so these were replaced as well.
Doing it right: The header and heat exchanger were changed out along with igniters and flame rods. Thankfully, the refractory was not damaged in the process, and residents were back in hot water within a matter of hours.
